Pâte à Choux - Choux pastry

 This is not as difficult as people make it out to be.



Ingredients

250cl water

100g butter

150g flour

4 eggs

Salt


Method

Put the butter, water and salt in a saucepan. Melt the butter and bring to the boil. 

As soon as it is boiling, remove from the heat and add the flour all at once. Stir with a wooden spoon. Keep stirring until the dough detaches from the sides of the pan. 

Bring back on the hobs and add the eggs, one at a time, while stirring constantly. Make sure everything is well combined before adding the next egg.

Place balls of dough on a buttered and floured baking tray and bake for 30 minutes at 200 degrees. 

Do not open the door of the oven until it's done.
